Under Crestfall, Nidhogg was able to travel to The Dream and meets with Jairx. The next session, Nidhogg rolls the die in a temple of Glory, which the Gambler takes over and gives Nidhogg a new powerful activatable combat state. In Fireport's graveyard, Nidhogg takes a deal with the patron Gambler Black to roll a D6 on any holy ground he comes across, in exchange for power and souls. He strives to one day kill Iass or/and become a god of souls himself. He now believes that no one deserves to keep their souls and consumes the souls from everyone he kills. As a follower of Iass, he cried out to her for help but help never came. One day, the two went out walking to find flowers and something came and took his wife's soul. Eventually he started growing a fondness for the girl and the two married. She would go out of her way to talk to him and pester him to go on dates. He does not have any qualms on doing morally questionable deeds, including consuming souls, which considered to be a Prime Evil. The most ill-tempered of the group, Nidhogg would usually throw any object his hands touch upon and shouts out of anger.įor Nidhogg, the end always justifies the means, all to fulfill his goal on killing the deity Iass and claim souls to be strong enough to oppose the gods.
